Clare Boothroyd is Medical Director for Care Fertility in Brisbane and Toowoomba and is in private practice in reproductive endocrinology and gynaecology at Greenslopes Private Hospital. She holds Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with sub-specialty Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
She graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) with First Class Honours, has a Masters of Medical Science (UQ) and an executive Master Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology.
She is Vice President Asia Pacific Initiative Reproduction and of Australian and New Zealand Society of Specialists in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and a member of the Board of the Fertility Society of Australia and a Board Member of True Relationships and Reproductive Health.
She is currently Chair Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Training and Accreditation Committee of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and chairs the Review Subcommittee of the Australian and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database (ANZARD)

She is married to Russell Bach, an ophthalmologist with whom she has parented their three children aged 23, 22 and 16. She hopes to be a grandmother in the near future.
